   The Fremont Jaycees general membership meetings (GMM) are typically held at a family or youth competition event. The meetings are varied and may have a local speaker but usually coincide with another event. Speaker topics have included Dodge County Court judge, American Red Cross and Insurance needs. Other agenda items include the chapter's business, upcoming events, financial status and an after meeting social. Guests of any age are more than welcome to the GMM's.

   The board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month during the lunch hour at 12:30pm at Valentino's on East 23rd Street. All board meetings are open to general members. Any board agenda items must be presented to the President prior to the scheduled meeting.


To provide young people the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service and organizational involvement while expanding the Jaycee movement.


To become the organization of choice for young people, providing direction and leadership to our communities.


Provides personal and professional development through community involvement to men and women aged 21-40. The United States Jaycees also serves as the nation's advocacy organization for young people. Career advancement through community service including leadership training.


The Fremont Jaycees have been developing young leaders in the Fremont community since September 1936. They have 22 members. Nebraska has 27 chapters statewide, with the United States Jaycees having over 2,000 chapters nationwide.


This organization is a not for profit corporation. It is organized for such educational and charitable purposes as will promote and foster the growth and development of young Americanís civic organizations. The organization has been designed to promote a spirit of genuine Americanism and civic interest, as well as a supplementary education institute to provide its members with the opportunity for personal growth and development. The Jaycees offer an avenue for intelligent participation by young people of all nations. To offer young people the opportunity for leadership training and personal growth. Major efforts are directed toward community involvement thought individual chapter projects.
