   The Fremont Jaycees host many sports competitions for youth in our community. All the individual competitions are for boys and girls and are FREE! The Fremont Tribune Sports Playbook and the Radio will announce the dates prior to our events.
Fremont Local Super Shooters is March 8, 2015 at Bergan High School at 1pm.

   Super Shooters is an individual timed basketball competition. Boys and girls ages 6-13 compete together in four different age groups. Competitors are given 60 seconds to shoot from five different spots on the court. Participants will receive two rounds with the best of the two used for scoring. The Fremont Jaycees local competition is usually held in February or March. Click here for the 2015 Local Fremont Flyer.

Parents or caretakers may preregister their child/children by filling out the WAIVER and scanning and emailing the form to the competitions chairperson. Or you may print out, fill out and bring with you the day of the competition. The Nebraska Jaycee state competition is usually held in March and in 2015 will be held at the Doniphan HS on March 14, 11am.

   Pitch, Hit and Run is sponsored by Aquafina and Major League Baseball. It is an individual skills baseball event for boys and girls ages 7-14 that compete separately (girls with a softball) in four different age groups in the skills of pitching, hitting and running. Fremont holds the local competition in May at Memorial Fields on 9th and Lincoln Streets. The State (Sectional) Jaycee competition will be held outside of Fremont with a date TBD. Fremont hosted the state competition in 2009. PHR participants can advance through four levels of competition, including Local and Sectional competitions, Team Championship events at all 30 Major League ballparks, and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game. Parents or caretakers may preregister their child/children by filling out both sides of the Registration form/waiver and scan/email the form to the Fremont Jaycees. You may also fill out the registration/waiver and bring with you to the competition on the 5th.

   Punt, Pass & Kick is an individual football competition for boys and girls ages 6-15 that is sponsored by Pepsi and the National Football League. Local competition was held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 . Sectionals are typically held in October and this year in Kearney on October 4th. The Team Championships are held during November and December. The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick National Finals was held on January 11, 2014 at a Divisional Playoff game in Denver.

The 2013 competition was special as one of Fremont's 7 year old competitors made it all the way to Nationals and represented Fremont and Nebraska. She earned a 2nd place finish in the 6-7 age group!
